LOS ANGELES—Heluna Health, a leading population health nonprofit, announced today that Blayne Cutler, MD, PhD, president and CEO, will be retiring after 11 years of dedicated and successful service to the organization.

“On behalf of the Heluna Health Board of Directors, I would like to thank Dr. Cutler for her transformative leadership of the organization over the last decade,” said Santosh Vetticaden, MD, PhD, MBA, Chair of the Heluna Health Board of Directors. “During her tenure, Heluna Health has been at the forefront of critical public health initiatives—from communicable disease prevention and response to maternal-child health, food access and so many other challenges we tackle across the population health spectrum. Dr. Cutler’s leadership has been marked by a period of unprecedented impact and growth for the organization, whose mission is to enhance the health, wellness, and resilience of the communities we serve.”

Cutler said, “It has been the honor of my professional life to lead this incredible organization, working alongside the most passionate and talented team in public health. I am immensely proud of what we have accomplished together over the past decade, making a tangible difference in the lives of millions. The mission of Heluna Health is more critical than ever, and I have the utmost confidence in our exceptional team to carry this work forward.”

The Board of Directors has initiated a comprehensive national search process to identify an outstanding successor to lead Heluna Health in its next chapter. Cutler will partner with the Board and the Heluna Health leadership team to ensure a smooth transition, as Heluna Health continues to innovate for a healthier, more equitable world.
