The Los Angeles County African American Infant and Maternal Mortality (AAIMM) Prevention Initiative seeks three Backbone Support Agencies to provide core operational, administrative, and coalition-building support to three AAIMM Community Action Teams (CATs) based in Service Planning Area (SPA) 1 – Antelope Valley, SPA 2 – San Fernando/Santa Clarita Valleys, and SPA 3 San Gabriel Valley (one backbone per region). The initial contract will be for 6 months and up to $50,000 per grantee, with potential to renew up to two additional years at a rate of up to $100,000 per grantee per year. Eligible applicants must be based in the region they propose to serve.
